10g packs of hand-dyed Wensleydale locks in a rich Damson purple, from sheep raised in Wensleydale itself. The locks vary between 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) in length.
 
These soft, long, curly locks are very popular with textile artists, felters and spinners, and can be used in a wide range of projects. This particular fleece yellows at the tips which gives a faded grey ombre effect.
 
They are hand-dyed at home and fixed with citric acid.
