We select blends of fibres that feel lovely to handle, because knitting or crocheting is a sensory experience. Most of the yarn we buy is sourced from one supplier as we can rely on the quality of their products. We dye the yarn either in the pot or paint the dyes on if we want a more regular end result. Both methods mean that only a few skeins are dyed in a colour way at a time and each one is unique. The yarn is suitable for more than just socks: from one skein you will get a pair of socks, or a slouchy hat, or a neck warmer, or gloves, or a scarf. Alternatively use as an accent in a larger item.
